Since there's a good number of students at the Guild...

1) Who starts school, and when?
2) What grade or year are you?
3) For college/university students, what's your major?
4) What classes are you taking?


My answers:
1) School for me starts on Monday.
2) I'm a sophomore in college.
3) I'm an English major.
4:
-Sociology (Gen. Ed)
-Biology (Gen. Ed)
-Creative Writing: Narrative Fiction
-Short Story and the Novel (a literature course)
So all in all, a light semester for yours truly. I took summer classes so I could ease my workload during the school year.

1) Wednesday the 22nd
2) Sophomore as well
3) English (with a creative writing emphasis) and political science (double major)
4) Introduction to Creative Writing, Political Institutions, Spanish II, College Algebra, and Issues in Higher Education

I'd go to school, but then I wouldn't have any time to pursue an education.

(Now that the joke is out, I'll be heading to college for a science degree... eventually.)

1.  Classes start the 5th of September.  I'm living in an apartment, though, and I've been around campus doing school-y stuff all summer.

Class starts Monday. I'm a second-year grad student in music theory, beginning the first year of my assistantship. So I'll be taking classes on the theory of rhythm (Theory: What if LC had rhythm??), devoting some hours to library research and composition lessons, and teaching undergraduate theory classes to freshmen.

It's very interesting learning what grades everyone is.  It really puts a focus on just how mature several of our members are for their age.  Several of our members are just entering college or aren't even out of it yet; nonetheless they act like they're graduates and have real lives.  I love this guild -- it just proves that not all people my age and younger are imbeciles.
