Here is the wiki for my Oververse, the general universe in which all my settings will take place. It's pretty broad and undefined right now, but I'd like some feedback on what I have. I'll also be posting here as I add new pages to the Oververse. :)

Oh, and just an FYI, I love the Wiki as a way to organize information. It's easy to use, clear, smooth, and simple. Just what I look for.

That has to be one of the best sentences ever!

Overall I like what you have done. The framework is there to really build any world/universe you want and have them all connected on a base level. Very Moorcock or Heinleinian!

As an aside, it's really easy to get caught up playing with the wiki. Can anyone help me make an infobox or catagories?

Cool. I wanted to play a superhero in this multiverse after reading just the first three or four sentences.

I guess my main question about this setting would be about travel between the Earthverses and the Mythverses. Is such a thing possible? Does Olem have any responsibility when it comes to Earthverse/Mythverse interactions?

Crossing over between the two is possible, but is a very rare occurance. The fundemental laws of physics are often different, so a mythverse being who looks and acts and registers on every single level as a human but travels to an Earthverse, they may discover that what was actually holding their body together was the will of the Gods as opposed to normal physics, and immediately discorporate. Generally, Earthverse beings have less dramatic worries when traveling to other universes, but there are still instances of Earthverse beings discovering a Mythverse has gravity that effects its inhabitants normally, but since their planet is a rock the size of jupiter, the gravity is crushing for the traveler.

Of course, those are the exceptions, not the norms. In reality, of the few people who travel between the two, most survive the inital trip. Generally, a person who enters a universe with incompatable physics finds that their body reconfigures itself under the nearest equivalent physics for their druation there - it's only when no equivalent exists that problems arise (so if a person composed entirely of atoms enters a mythverse where everything is composed of flexs of magic, his body will be changed accordingly - this is just part of the nature of things, since a universe/plane will adapt something that breaks its natural laws, with the exception of powerful aberrant things (lovecraftian entities)) However, they're are some major problems, ev3en if physics match up.

1) Orientation. It's bad enough winding in a similar universe to your own - imagine how disorienting it would be to wind up on a plane that is fundementally different. Mythversers generally have an easier time of it then Earthversers, since planar travel is comparatively more common in the Mythverse, and the planes are less likely to be similar.

2) Rifts. A major danger with such a trip is that it tears the fabric of reality. Such breaches are quickly sealed by Olem or his Mythverse counterpart, Intem, but if they go unchecked even a little too long, then can result in a reality cancern, forcing Olem or Intem to destroy the afflicted universe. (more on Intem will be out on a later date - I'm still working out her details.)

3) The Keepers. Beings that have existed longer than Intem and Olem, Keepers are powerful entities of beastial intelligence, tasked with hunting down those who break the barrier between the two multiverses. They can be evaded, if the traveller does it right (Or is initiated by Intem and Olem, which is almost always done only to return a wayward native of their multiverse) and they can be fought, though it requires immensely powerful beings (the setting's Master Mage or Superman equivilent might survive, but it would take someone far more powerful to actually defeat a Keeper.) If the players were to travel between multiverses, it would 99% of the time be on a mission from Olem to aid in retriving someone who broke the planar boundries and evaded the keepers - or, fi they're Mythverse characters, the same from Intem.

As you may have guessed, Olem has a major role in those interactions. He works closely with his sister Intem, the guardian of the Mythverse. Both are immortal but not eternal - there were guardians before them, and their will be guardians afterwards (I'll delve into previous guardians much later on) Details about them are sketchy - Both generally appeared as white haired humanoids in their mid forties with faintly purple skin for Intem, faintly blue for Olem, but for such powerful beings, apperance is subjective. Asking their age or how long they've been doing gets the asker amused looks - they both exist outside of the normal space-time continumum for individual universes within their multiverses, and since it flows faster on some and slower on others, that question is meaningless.

As for interactions, it generally happens between Otem and Intem in a meeting at the Waypoint, /the/ only place between the multiverses that the Keepers do not prowl.

One thing to note is that, while immensly powerful, they also have a huge number of constraints. They cannot enter the other one's multiverse directly, nor can Otem directly enter any universe in the Earthverses (Intem is simply barred from entering keyplanes - she can interact with elsewheres and walkways, though in an extremely diminished capacity.) They can deal with problems that effect universes from the outside (outside in the 4 dimensional sense of the word, (4th dimensional meaning the spatial dimension, not time), such as rips or tears, but if it becomes cancerous, they have to either send a team in to deal with it or, if they cannot, sever the plane.

I'm wondering what I should post next, so I decided to let you pick:

Deepening Night: A blurb is already up here

Pulp: A metahuman setting based off of the old pulp stories, featuring Nazis, robots, superheros, zeppelins, and more.

Methgor - the only fantasy setting I've been working on, Methgor attempts to take a new and interesting approach to old fantasy races, using people with superheroic-like power to redefine the world.

Unammed: The unnamed setting would take a look at superpowered individuals emerging in 2002 and how they would influence the world. A dimensional rift provides the catalyst for this sudden emergence.

Streetwise/Cleptocracy: A setting of low powered metahumans and vigilantes fighting for justice or vengeance is a society corrupted by corporations and organized crime.

Metaearth: A more traditional supehero universe, metaearth still features a more realistic approach to superhero's effects on society.

Regarding Cleptocracy cities: I'd say you should invent new neighborhoods, whether in real world cities or otherwise. The realism-related benefits of using real places only provides significant benefits to players who've actually been there. And unless you do a lot of research, players who know the area too well might be put off by information that doesn't line up with real world facts.
