So, besides DnD, what in the hell do you guys do exactly?

3000 points worth of necrons, baby. Been playing necrons since there were only 5 mini's for them. I built my own necron heavy support with the VDR rules. Got me a Nightbringer!

I never play though; I either crush someone utterly (which really isn't that much fun) or I get my hoop kicked. Maybe I  should get back into it...

Neptune is a recent college graduate (if two years ago is recent). I would have liked to have been a professional student, but colleges are just interested in you for your money. Good times back then, good times.

I work for as a software engineer at a small company that sells radio direction finding equipment to various governments. :) Fun.... I think I remember what that is. If I am not playing D&D I am trying to expand my knowledge of programming languages or just space out in front of my computer, tv, or video game. I live a real interesting life...sigh.

I'm a college student, though this semester is being devoted entirely to japanese (and I'm probably going to have to take it again as it just isn't sticking). I hold two jobs (together they're barely full time), and live with my girl friend (celebrating our 2 year aniversary on April 25th. w00t!).

I play video games, read (picking up some Lovecraft soon), and write (D&D related and my own novels, of which several are based on campaigns I'm running). I'm very much into animation of all sorts (not just anime) and am a regular AX conventioneer (the Anaheim one, though they're moving us back to stinky Long Beach next year because the guys with the funny hats are taking over the convention site).

Currently, and for the next two months, I'm going to be making a hauberk of maille for my Link costume. When that's finished, I'm making a suede tunic, and I'm also searching for a good but inexpensive carpender to make the master sword for me (can't bring metal weapons to the convention ... even though a wooden sword is still a club, which we all know deals more damage than a knife   ). I'm planning the shield right now. When it's all said and done, I should have a very good costume I can use for years.

Proud recipient of the Silver Tortoise Award for extra Krunchyness.

So, who, exactly, are the guys in funny hats?

A tangent: It's been my lifelong (well, at least three months) dream to go to an anime convention cosplayed as King Vitaman.

Wow, trombone.... play in my band! Although, seeing as you used "high school" rather than "secondary school" or "sixth form" you're probably a few thousand miles away from me :(

Anyway, me... not that my life's that interesting...

- College.
I'm doing a contemporary performing musician course. Which is cool.
- Guitar.
My instrument of choice. It is a vastly overused instrument, and I am ashamed of my six stringed beast. I'm a better composer than I am a guitarist, but I can play pretty much everything I come up with, so I'm happy enough.
- Friends.
We tend to talk about random crap (often music), act like hyperactive three year olds, make music, play computer (but not that often) and occasionally go to gigs.
- Computer.
I don't play computer games that much, but I cruise the net,  talk to folks on MSN messenger, and... um... cruise the net some more.
- Books.
I like to read. I mainly go for "entertaining" rather than "informative" or "high literature" (although the occasional history book does grab me) So I mainly read sci-fi and fantasy adventure-type novels. David Gemmel, Iain M Banks, Holly Lisle and Guy Gavriel Kay are a few authors that pop into my head.

Hmm...what do I do beside DnD...

1) College - I'm preparing for my journey into Michigan State University this fall, where I will be majoring there in the field of zoology

2) Artwork - http://senkennomei.sheezyart.com - http://senkennomei.deviantart.com
(Take your pick, it's mostly the same stuff, but DA has most flash files + photography, SA has   sketches)

3) MTG - Yes, I play Magic, but as of late I'm in a creative rut for a new deck. If you play it, HELP ME!

4) School - Senior year, not much left to do but sketch + try not to fail.

MTG... I love artifact decks and theme decks; if it seems like it might be able to create a story during the game, then I go for it.

Senkennomei

Haha artifact decks rule...I used to have an all-artifact deck which held a Phyrexian Colossus as its trump card ^_^

Interesting combo: look at Phyrexian Colossus, then Voltaic Key  :)

Right now I'm trying to make either a Darksteel deck or a blue deck that relies on overloading both player's hands...

oooh, decks that gaurantee winning by forcing the other player to over-draw on his deck until he runs out of cards... mull THAT one over

Exactly what I had planned  8)

Plus, there are those special cards that let you have no maximum hand size, as well as many cards that give you the wonderful little ability to deal damage to your opponents solely based on the # of cards you and he/she draw every turn...

Beardy.

But too meta-game for me... I prefer to just kill my enemies with dross golems and nim shamblers.

I had a beautiful red-blue deck for some years.  It wasn't very subtle, but the combination of counterspells up the wazoo and power drain / fireball proved really damn good.  I sold all my cards a few years back, but that was a great deck.  I think the only creatures I had were Ball Lightnings.

Yeah I play Magic too. Not so much recently, though. I've retired my old collection and am currently trying to find someone to buy them all. Me and a bunch of friends bought starters out of the new Ravnica sets and alter the decks from there...we keep dragging new people in so we can eventually get a 10 person group (each of which also plays a different guild...kinda cool).

I also write bad stories in my free time. I'm a philosophy major, focusing mainly on religion. Because religion is interesting. Though I do love cooking, and am considering switching schools to somewhere I can get a culinary degree of some type.

Aside from D&D...

Haha... oh wow!  I posted all that here way back when?

I am a student linguist at the University of Hawaii.  I don't have any particular area of research yet.

I play the bass guitar.

I am into naked eye astronomy.
