I've collected a large list of mythological creatures and items on the wiki. The category page can be found here. It's broken into several pages because of the size constraints of the wiki format and for readability.

The lists are more-or-less complete using the books I currently have available, but others can add new items. I've linked to online sources when felt like googling the item and could find online information.

This replaces the old Mythological Magic Items thread here. A wiki is more efficient than a thread for a resource list. In the future I may try to add places and people, but not soon.

I collected all this for my own work on Eschaton, but I hope it proves helpful to other members wanting to find mythical inspiration for monsters or items.

Excellent Work!  I would give you a Silver Tortoise, but you already have one... which means I need a new prize to hand out to people...

For finite types, like human beings, getting the mind around the concept of infinity is tough going.  Apparently, the same is true for cows.

I need to also lent my Kudos publically, which have been given also privately on the Wiki...Hell of a job...

Thank you both. I may have a few more minor updates here and there, too.

Hell of a job indeed. Very complex and in depth list you put up, I am sure I will be looking to it in the future for ideas.

Both the Mythology Resources page and the Campaign Building Resources page are now complete (at least as far as I plan any more revisions, barring stumbling across new info or errors). Ish has links to both at the top bar of Wiki Main Page.

I hope others find these pages useful. Enjoy  :D

I haven't put this on the wiki, but it's a neat page that lists the approximate timeline at which real-world foods entered people's diets.

A few weeks back I had some fun looking through the cryptozoological sites you linked. Good work, Phoenix.
