Ninja D!

I was wondering if anyone here would be interested in doing some simple group projects using 4E rules.  I was thinking we could try to collectively make things that you often see many variants of.  Like a race of cat people or a ninja class.  We could work through it one section at a time by all throwing our ideas in and then voting.  Would anyone be interested?

topic is only 2 hours old, I would give it a bit more time before giving up ;)

For finite types, like human beings, getting the mind around the concept of infinity is tough going.  Apparently, the same is true for cows.

Ninja D!

Im not giving up just yet.  It was half a bump and half looking for more attention to this, I guess.  It was sinking fast on the front page.  I also apparently cant use apostrophies anymore as they open up quick find.  I also cant spell that word.  Or use the arrows to go back.  What is wrong with my computer?

Cat-people, I have them for my world. They're cheetah people, the Khans. They're one of the Feral races, not much in the way of societies. Young adults live in pairs (siblings) and adults live in pairs (mates). In 3E they had 2 racial HD but no LA. In 4E, here's what their stats would be off the top of my head:

Khan
Ability Scores: +2 Dex, +2 Cha
Size: Medium
Speed: 7 squares
Vision: Low-light
Languages: ? (this is more world specific; in my setting they speak a degenerated form of Common)
Skill Bonuses: +2 Athletics, +2 Nature
Natural Weaponry: Claws (+3 prof, 1d4 damage)
Swift: +2 speed when running or charging.
Khan's Sprint: You can use khan's sprint as an encounter power.

Khan's Sprint (Khan Racial Power)
Encounter
Standard (Personal)
Effect: Shift your speed and make a basic melee or at-will melee attack; you have combat advantage with this attack.

That's just off the top of my head. It compares to the strength of Elves I think.

As for a Ninja, that all depends on what you want from ninjas. Do you want a realistic Ninja (it already exists: The Rogue)? Do you want a mystical ninja with ki powers? Do you want it to be related to the monk?

By the way, since Wizards said they're going to have a Ki power source, and the Monk is going to be a Striker, where does that leave the Ninja? Are they going to be one build of the Monk? Are there just going to be ever more strikers than any other role? Will our heroes ever defeat the BBEG? Tune in next time for Xev's crazy when he's been drinking and DMing for a 6 person group ... ah ah ah.
