That wasn't quite the answer we were looking for, but perhaps I worded the clue in an obscure way. I shall re-word it (is that allowed in the rules?) to avoid confusion with reflections.

We would also have accepted "The Tangle." Actually, the distinctions are so subtle in Wake, it's hard to form a clue that can't offer more than one answer. At least for all those related concepts.
