Does anyone own or play this? I found it on the Adamant Entertainment site, and although I know nothing about it other than what's said there, and am no particularly great fan of the planetary romance genre, I have an unexplainable urge to buy it. I can't find any decent reviews online, so... anyone care to tell me my instinct's right? Or save me from a rash purchase that I will live to regret?

hmmmm I don't know, but it sounds like a great idea. What I think what turns me on about the idea is the first few pages of the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen Volume II when we see these awesome green men riding raptor-like monsters to attack the tripod aliens. I think it is a pretty specific genre however.

The most negative review in the store calls it "A complete rip off of Edgar Rice Burrough's work, with nothing new to add".

So, do you like Edgar Rice Burrough's work? Do you want you and your friends to play in the setting? If not, Edgar Rice Burrough's work is in public domain* (indeed, audio recordings are available at librovox.org), you may want to just read the books and browse for fanart instead. :)

*I'm not sure if ALL of it is, but Princess of Mars definitely is.
