Okay, i think you moved some wrong mountains:
You moved stuff from area A, but i actually wanted a couple of mountains moved from B (west coast part). C is a desert, while D is a tundra. the stuff below D is a shunned area, but it goes to reason that they have old maps or some such (of course, this is also more of an overview map than an actual in-game one :) )
The rivers seem to work out rather nicely and all in all this looks really good :D
Are you going to add some gradient of some sort to the oceans or is that beyond the capability of your program? (what are you using?)
And by the way, thank you very much for doing this :)

The ocean will be all fancy, i just usually do it last now as the texturing of it sloooooows the computer down so much while i work i just leave it to last.

Thanks this is perfect, the more information i have the more i know what i need to do! I was going with the idea that the "random details" of the map might spur you on in your writing (hey, thats a neat little hill top over looking a lake, something should go their, hmmm..) But i do want as much information as possible as i was a little lost on what to do. I hope the mountain range that i just "Created" on the bottom of the North continent is ok, maybe give you some ideas for that "unknown land"

I am using Gimp, and a couple Textures. One of a bunch of gravel for the mountains, and one "bumpy dots" for the ground which will probebly be changed. I am trying to get my high resolution Genetica textures from my now dead laptop.

I like the Volcano mountain island in the South East. Can i turn it into a volcano? I havent done one yet... please :)

I will be flattening out some "plains lands" "deserts" and such, leaving some of the hills still.

In my experience this can only be answered by you... do you want me to add more rivers and show the little ones or do you want me to stick with just the major ones. This is totally about how you want the map to look. My Rhime map has ALOT of rivers because its like Scandinavia in terrain, very mountainous, so i wanted to show every little creek filled valley.

Area A is going to be had because you show a mountain range their but i dont know how much smaller i can make it so i think i am going to reduce the tip of that mountain range to a "hilled land" like Scotland. would that work?

wow, that's pretty damn nice Lath. You got some skill :) (or a lot is perhaps more accurate)
a few last requests: 1) make the ocean slightly less fancy; it kind of takes attention way from the beautiful landscape now. 2) Remove the river in the desert. That place is supposed to be quite nasty and dry without much water outside the few oasises. 3) maybe enhance the map rose a bit, it's difficult to see. Pretty neat that it surrounds the small islands.
There seems to be a good amount of rivers and i really like how the lakes look now :)
And again, thank you very much. Hope you had some fun doing it and it wasn't all work. :p

Oh, another point, i love the rivers you put in the tundra. They look really nice and i hadn't thought about that. Very good idea and well carried out. :)

That's pretty damn neat Lath. Close to perfect i might even say. I will now spend a few hours exploring the terrain or something :p
I will put up a thread tonight or tomorrow probably accompanied by the map and an acknowledgement.
How do you make those badge-thingies? Paint? :p
you can have one if i figure it out.
Thank you very much!

nice. a large picture such as the first will probably come in handy. Is there any specific reason the third one has a yellow border?

You mentioned my style was more for an over view than something to be printed for use at the table, so i wanted to give some more printer-friendly options. the yellow border i dunno, looked better than black to me...?

Thats a nice map EE, awesome job on the Cut-in's, the legend, title and those little touches. They make it look like a MAP. I like it.

I agree; that is a very nice map. Might actually look like something a wealthy person in the setting itself might have lying around somewhere. :)
