The Third Thing
Genre: Post-post-apocalyptic sci-fantastic
Atmosphere/Tone: Wry, Playful
Themes: Mischevious trumps Straight, Eschew The Way Of The Overblown, Discover rather than Fear
Colors: sandy gold, concrete grey, sky/ocean blue
Summary: In a universe where interplanetary travel can be accomplished by a hiker with a map, the jin species has recovered from the war that nearly destroyed them and turned their planets into arid deserts.  Now their normal lives continue, worshiping contests of skill rather than contests of death.  But there is the rest of the universe out there, and it enjoys introducing itself in the most unusual way possible...........
(My attempted to create an interesting setting that strongly discourages the "epic things get done" mentality I get too often from games and instead focus on goals of a more personal level.  However I find the best way to dilute importance to a tolerable level is to inject humor, at least a wry reality check and WTF? moment.)
I'm a muck-levelist, I like to see things from the bottom.

"No matter where you go, you will find stupid people."

Okay, here are the four I have matched up thus far.  I decided to go ahead and run with what I already have done since I'm having trouble getting responses from some of you.  I am still awaiting lists from several of you, and a bit of an updated list from one of you (you have a PM).

For finite types, like human beings, getting the mind around the concept of infinity is tough going.  Apparently, the same is true for cows.

Here's another one that didn't shrink nearly as well as I'd hoped.

Biohazard, here's the badge you asked for. I don't think it worked as well as the vibrant one, maybe just cause of the nature of the badge.

I don't know if it is to late to join up for this, but I would like to take part.

Umm...just looked in here.
Not that you have to or anything, but Celtricia should look classical and worn, like an ancient epitath written on marble.
Not to be too much of a punk.

A marble engraving would be pretty easy. I can do one if you'd like one. Really I was just trying out different styles to see what I could do, and it seemed to make more sense to try to assign the big settings here.

It's an ongoing project. You can post a blurb about your setting at any time, then send Ish a PM about other projects you are interested in.

However, he may not start pairings until he has enough votes in to make it practical.

That would be wicked cool, honestly.

That's a basic Times New Roman font. I don't know what a more classical font would be, but if you want another, this style's easy.

You rock the house.  I think this may go up on the real site, if it expands well.

That was the original larger one before I shrank it. You can try expanding that one, or I can just increase the font size in the original photoshop image.

Superfluous Crow

Not that i want it for my own, but the Knife's Edge badge is really sweet. Sort of eerie feel to it, reminds me a bit of the "alone in the dark"-font. Very sweet.
Have you made a combined Arga/consultant badge?

I have not. I made a Vibrant one for myself, and Horse asked for an Eschaton one.

I can probably add it pretty easy to the Arga one, though I don't necessarily want to make two badges for every project.
