FREAKIN' AWESOME HORSE

I'll go ahead and add mine:

 Vibrant

Genre: Horror/conspiracy hard science fiction setting

Location: The Milky Way Galaxy, 3221 A.D.

The stars are at your appendages. Welcome to the reality that is, and the others that might be lurking beyond the fabric of space-time in ours. It is in this age that one can witness the culmination of the bizarre theories and actions of humans in the 20th and 21st century when the products meet with those of other space-faring species - the familiar tetrobor and wraz, the enigmatic amaskodi and wzzev, the warlike dyen and corax, and the horrific vorovka - and be in awe. There are factions that cross the galaxy and species both, which possess the drive and power to shake the orbit of the very galaxy from its path. Things best left unspoken can be found in places no one would want to go... but more often they lie beneath where you sleep.

Pair o' Dice Lost

And here's mine:
Death from the Depths
Genre: Fantasy, with a heaping helping of Celtic influence and a dash of Greek and Norse

Centuries ago, demons of every sort rose up from the depths of the earth to threaten the creations of the Aos Sidhe and the very world itself.  Now relegated to cities floating in the clouds and on the seas, the elder races created by the Aos Sidhe and the younger races created by the spirits of air and water watch helplessly as the demonlings turn their world into hell on earth, led by vile ifrits and rakshasa and aided by the spirits of fire, earth, and darkness.  A few brave souls from among the elves, satyrs, sylphs, and others hold the cities on land against the onslaught or strike out from the floating cities to destroy as many demons as they can.  An alliance with the spirits allowed the elder races to survive the initial destruction, but as years go by with no sign of the demonic flood slowing, many ask themselves how much longer they have....
Call me Dice--that's the way I roll.
Current setting: Death from the Depths; Unfinished Setting I'll Probably Get Back To At Some Point: The Living World of Glaesra
Warning: This poster has not maxed out ranks in Knowledge (What the Hell I'm Talking About).

Now that this post is two pages long, perhaps a link to the settings that are on page 2 might be a good idea?

Thank you for getting Gloria up.

New Dawn of the West
Genre: Vanilla Fantasy ala J. R. R. Tolkien, David Eddings and George R.R. Martin

As the West emerges from almost a thousand years of darkness, disease and brutality the first rays of enlightenment begin to shine.

Will the heroes of the West kindle this flame so that it may sign bright or smother it and descend back into darkness?

What of the sleeping gods?  Will they be awakened and stop the spread of the new One True God?  Or will they slowly drift through dream into legend and myth?

Who are the dark forces that lurk just outside the light and watch the West with greedy eyes and black hearts?

These questions can only be answered by stepping into the New Dawn of the West!

Urbis - A World of Cities

Genre: Magical Industrial Urban Fantasy

Description: What happens when a stereotypical fantasy world with all the standard fantasy tropes goes through a magical industrial revolution. Does more need to be said?

O Senhor Leetz

Arga

Genre: Alternative Fantasy

Description: An aging world on it's final breath. A place of dead and dying gods, doom cults, eldritch machines, and wild magics. The ruins of past wonders and empires litter the desolate lands, where things called trees once grew, fed by water that was once drinkable. But still the world pushes on - Arga is half-dead, and half-very-alive.
Let's go teach these monkeys about evolution.

The Third Thing

Genre: Post-post-apocalyptic sci-fantastic
Atmosphere/Tone: Wry, Playful
Themes: Mischevious trumps Straight, Eschew The Way Of The Overblown, Discover rather than Fear
Colors: sandy gold, concrete grey, sky/ocean blue
Summary: In a universe where interplanetary travel can be accomplished by a hiker with a map, the jin species has recovered from the war that nearly destroyed them and turned their planets into arid deserts.  Now their normal lives continue, worshiping contests of skill rather than contests of death.  But there is the rest of the universe out there, and it enjoys introducing itself in the most unusual way possible...........
(My attempted to create an interesting setting that strongly discourages the "epic things get done" mentality I get too often from games and instead focus on goals of a more personal level.  However I find the best way to dilute importance to a tolerable level is to inject humor, at least a wry reality check and WTF? moment.)
I'm a muck-levelist, I like to see things from the bottom.

I'm still working on mine. It is at a behind the scenes stage right now, so I am not comfortable posting constant updates. An FAQ is forthcoming, and that should give me an idea on what topics interest players.

Three Worlds
Genre: High Fantasy with Sci Fi approach
System: Modified "Mutants and Masterminds"

A world of dualities: old vs. new, civilized vs. wild, light vs. dark. A fantasy setting approached in a believable matter, designed to explore how magic and fantastic races would affect the development of humanity. Otherwise it is traditional high fantasy with some new elements.
Endless Horizons: Action and adventure set in a grand world ripe for exploration.

Proud recipient of the Silver Tortoise Award for extra Krunchyness.

Nomadic

Mare Eternus
Genre: Magitech Exploratory
Atmosphere: Mysterious, Wonderous, Adventerous
Summary: An endless ocean filled with hollow worlds, massive clockwork, and other stranger things. The expanse is home to endless peoples, mysteries, and wonders waiting to be uncovered. The atmosphere in such a strange world is dynamic and philosophical as people fight for wealth, fame, and the answers to why the universe works like it does.

The Third Thing should probably be taken off.  It looks like I'm not going to be working on it.

SDragon

Don't think it's been updated on the site specifically, but since you just said "updated":

Xiluh.

A Mesoamerican fantasy world with zombie foreigners and living Chia pets. it's ruled almost exclusively by animistic shamanism.

Sorry the blurb isn't that long; it's a fairly well known setting amongst this site, and that's enough of a gist for most of you guys.

Tephra
Genre: Re-Mixed Fantasy Steampunk
System: The Tephra Roleplaying System

Maybe it's the people around you. The towering haudi to your left, the school of ayodin behind you, the gnomes and humans and satyrs drinking to your right, or the farishtaas and the elves harassing the izedan merchants in front of you. Perhaps it's the city streets you walk, thronged with vendors of exotic alchemic crafts and sleek flyers. Or is it the group of magi demonstrating their skill, forming flame and wind to batter another only to have it turned away, or the efforts of a summoner trying to regain control of his daemons after they've had their wits scrambled? It might even be the towering structures that line the alleys and the walls, shrines and cathedrals that celebrate more faiths than you thought possible. There seems so much, too much to have stayed in the same place for so long without colliding.

Collision is all you see, friend. A world of collision, of faith and logic, of magic and steel, of flight and strides. If you want to see it all, it'd be best to begin soon.
