In the past I have considered, and even talked about, submitting game materials to be published. For the last few years, I figured that my best chance was going through Steve Jackson Games.

Well, I'm finally going to do it. I've got a couple of ideas for articles that I'm going to submit (hopefully) for publication in Pyramid magazine. One thing that I could really use is people willing to look over my rough drafts and give me their thoughts. Any volunteers?

Here is an explanation of what is likely to be my first submission. The theme of the issue is 'Fears of Days Past'. The article is going to be about making things feel scary through the way they are presented. It will be focusing on trying to exploit the fear of the unknown using things that may be unknown to the characters, even if they are known to the players...if that makes sense.
