[ic]"Indeed. You may not have committed Druj, but these people have, and we must show them the error of their ways."
He swings his staff down to the ground to impress his point.[/ic]

[ic=The Monk]The monk's smile dissapears, "I am familiar with your kind of justice, and since I have already revealed this much to you, restating it can't hurt.  They are on the far side of the complex."

"You can expect no assistance from me in this matter."  The monk gathers his things, gets up, and begins to walk out the way that you came in.  He turns back, and says, "An eye for an eye will make the whole world blind."[/ic]

[ic=Hyaled]The priest watches the monk go suspiciously.

"I think we should tie him up, just to be sure..."

[ooc]Can we really kill Gandhi?[/ooc]
[ic=Atefeh]I hastily move around the camel so as to keep it between myself and the monk.  My hand goes to the hilt of my sword, as I watch the others for some hint as to what the hell we are doing. ;)[/ic]

[ooc]Why not? :P
Hey, he's a bit early for his time...

[ooc]That's not Gandhi, it's the Dalai Lama[/ooc]

[ic=Behrem]Behrem takes no action, figuring this kind of thing is for his betters to decide. Instead, he starts looking around for other entrances to the courtyard, trying to figure out what would be the best route to take.

"We need to try and get to them criminals before they move on."[/ic]

What?
England.
Just a conspiracy of cartographers, then?

[ic Faridoon]Faridoon's constant frown masks his frustration at not only his indecisive action, but also his hesitation in taking the monk and forcing his cooperation. Kicking himself for his weakness, Faridoon lets the monk leave while he walks to his mule and begins to don his armor.[/ic]

[ooc]A few things:

I thought you guys were going to try and track them down first.  The monk gave general directions, not really anything specific.

Also, are you really going to walk across the entire complex?  I don't know if I made this very clear, but it's at least a days travel from one end to the other.

Just some things to think about.[/ooc]

[ooc]Let's just leave the stinkin' monk alone! That aside, where are we going. There's a tower ahead. There's the people on the other side of the complex. We might snipe from the tower or ride on our horses/camels/mules to the other side. In fact, I don't recall the briefing. Are we looking for the soon-to-be-martyrs on the other side? Or are there actual thieves to attend to? Latter couple questions aimed at limey, we gotta think about the rest.[/ooc]

[ooc]As the monk pointed out, there is only one group in the complex, and what they are called is subjective.  He didn't call them bandits, but others might.

Furthermore, I said "bandits", never anything about them being "theives".[/ooc]

beejazz

[ooc]For the record, "bandit" is usually a term used for mugging, thieving, pillaging, and (in rare cases) rape. Religious persecution might be better labelled "heresy" or somesuch. Not that I've any problem with maiming Christians, or whatever else. And about the feasibility of sniping from the tower? At least in terms of height, anyway. As to the "one person gets shot and they scatter" thing, I'm working on that.[/ooc]

[ooc]All you know is that this group, who the monk more than likely met, is your bounty.  You know nothing of what they did, just that you are tracked with bringing them back, dead or alive.

The tower you are headed to is 40 tall at the highest.[/ooc]

[ic]As the monk passes from your view of the outside, you notice that the sun has begin to set.  It will be much darker, and much colder, in a short while.[/ic]

beejazz

[ic=Rashine]Let's go. To the tower. You coming, men?[/ic]
[ooc]Going to the tower. Yes. I have a vague idea. So long as the tower can see over the walls, we at least have our sniper's nest. I'll explain the rest when I can see more of the complex and the encampment.[/ooc]
