Inspired by SA's "Risus!" thread, how about a thread where people can discuss their own weird dreams?

My dream last night was about cryptozooglogy, the study of mythical and lorebound creatures such as yetis and seamonsters.

Apparently, there was one creature in particular that was being studied. Ocassionally, an expert Cryptozoologist would make some major breakthrough on this creature, but they'd always die of a mysterious illness afterwards. This dream was semi-disassocciative, so I was kind of disemobodied, and watching one of these experts record his findings (I don't remember what they were, but I do remember they were in the dream), in a dark room. Then, I noticed a creature (which was intuitively recognized as the creature being studied) from behind the expert, and had attacked the expert on the right side of his neck. I immediately got the sense that attacking the right ide of the neck was the typical MO for these creatures, and that they were responsible for the mysterious illnesses.

While still disassocciative, I somehow managed to spread information about how this creature obviously displayed intelligence (understanding they were being studied, an almost cultural disdain for being studied, and even common practices, such as specifically attacking the right side of the neck), in a manner that I can only describe as being similar to the "whirling headlines" plot device in old movies.

I vaguely remember the creature resembling, in some sort of way, the chupacabra from one of my issues of Dragon, but it seemed that it wasn't, in fact, the chupacabra.

A couple of days ago, in a dream, I picked up someone else's ringing cellphone, because the person it belonged to was in the other room. When the person on the other end of the line found out I wasn't the owner of the cellphone s/he yelled and insulted me for the apparent outrage of picking up someone else's cellphone.

I only wanted to help. :'(

I would have to say the one where me and my friends' future selves come back to the past to help us take over our town was the strangest.

Closely followed by the one where I was some sort of superhero flying over Cleveland...

Once I had a dream about anthropomorphic dinosaurs that were being threatened with.... Well, for a lack of a better explaination, I guess inorganicized. Yes, I just made that word up, but that's what they were being threatened with.

Picture a half Vietnamese pot-bellied pig/ half sea urchin, running wild through an Olive Garden. That was my dream.

I can't remember the details of last night's, but it included odd stuff about internet access, moving (for some reason I was moving us out of our appartment which was underground... so I had to excavate the boxes first or something), tubing on a river (some kind of mass exodus from something catastrophic and inner-tubes were our only hope of escape), and an evil villain that had something to do with computer animated movies getting really really lame. Oh, and the villain had something to do with clowns and music, and had some kind of weapon that sounded... uh... flatulent.

Last night, I had a dream that I was on some  some amazing RPG site, and there was some sort of discussion on a totem class (PrC? I don't really remember, but it might have been) based on an animistic Shinto spellcaster, even taking into consideration (purely imagined, I'm sure) poetry on Shinto.

Not really weird, but two dreams that were interesting.....

The first one took place in the southwest, where a cowboy contracted lycanthropy and turned into a mexican wererat. When he changed, he went homocidally insane, trying to get vengence on his loved one, for "allowing" him to get that way. Would've made for an interesting movie, if it were ever made.

The other one was in some sort of documentary-style, on ghost sightings. The recollection of one of the lines spoken still makes me giggle a bit....

(dramatization of how an alien encounter might be mistaken for a ghostly encounter; the alien had offered to take a child to Alpha Centuri, which added to the misunderstanding)

Again, we are not taking you to Heaven. The funds at this time would be impossible.

My new weirdest is when I "wake up" in some after-life like place, and after walking around for a while, without a clue of whats going on, some disembodied voice comes around and gives me a list of things I had to do to set the timeline right. So, I start traveling around in time, and my first stop is cavemen time. I open my eyes (in the dream), and they're shooting eachother with laserguns....then after stealing all the laserguns I traveled to Hitler's time, and he was king of the world, and all he did was party with boxers on his head. Can't remember what happened after that.

I once dreamed that I worked at a hotel in the Netherlands but was slacking off and eating lunch in my car, so the cast of Law and Order decided to frame me for murder. Never mind the fact that I've never been to the Europe in my life, and haven't watched Law and Order in over a year.

My dream from last night, though ever so vaguely remembered, included having a discussion about the weather with an extremely pessimistic blue-haired woman in an early phase, and ended somewhere in suburbia, late at night, when for some reason I had developed certain superhuman powers.

I made no sound when I moved.
I was able to enter people's homes with little to no effort (I cannot remember how I achieved this)
I was able to jump higher than I am usually able to (think olympic high-jumpers) and moved in slow-motion when I did so.

These abilities seemed to be coupled with an intense, and not altogether unpleasant tingling sensation that pervaded my body, but was strongest around my feet and hands.
