For the second year in a row, the Netherlands wins the European Championship in soccer for players under the age of 21 years! :drunk: This the thread to congratulate the team or its beloved coach Foppe de Haan or the Netherlands as a whole or me.

While the final was a relatively easy victory over Serbia (4-1) the toughest match was the semi-final, where England was the opponent. Regular time resulted in a 1-1 draw, as did extra time. Even the penalty shoot-out remained even throughout 30 penalty kicks (which meant the players were already going up for their second penalty by the end). Only after 32 the decisive difference was made.

So, a big congrats to the Dutch team, now getting ready to win the Olympic Games next year! :D
