[ic=@kaine and Isu] "well, if you're looking for somewhere close, The Worn Blade down the road is a good house. It's run by Gerold Elgan. He's a good man. I served under him before he retired. Got one hell of a mouth on him sometimes though. Still, the beds are good and his prices are fair.[/ic]

[ic=Gugaba]Slipping around the crowd, Gugaba tries to Gather Info [dice]1d20+0[/dice] on the two strangers by listening in on other's conversations. (Not actually talking to anyone probably isn't a good strategy though. >_<)[/ic]

[ic=@Gugaba] Slinking over to listen to two large men, you manage to catch bits of their conversation.
A "I can't beleive you managed to get out of there. I though those cloaks were rounding everyone up."
B "Well, what can i say, i got friends here and i know the area better than anyone. Besides, everyone was too busy watching those two crazies, Shiny and the Birdman."
A "Gotta admit though, they got some balls to 'em. They stared down the whole mob. Even made Ardron weep. Not many is can do that."
B "Psh, they buncha cowards most of them. If'n the cloaks hadn't shown up, i coulda taken them. They're just some new crazies. Don't yet know how stuff works in this town."
All of a sudden B notices you watching them and turns towards you.
B "What the hell d'you think yer looking at? This place is going all to hell, they even let the damn gobs in here now," and with that he spits on the floor. [/ic]

[ic=Gugaba]Gugaba sneers at the men with his yellow teeth and prepares to sulk off when he gets an idea...

Slurring his speech to play on his goblin heritage, Gugaba stares the man in the eyes and says "Hah, yas wudn walk 'way frum dat scrap. Doncha hear the Shiny's an angel? Even da 'cloaks don dare mess wit him."[/ic]

[ic=B] He is taken aback for a second and you notice some other patrons in the inn have begun to pay attention to you dispute, but the replies.
"Those things ain't real. The churches just made them up. He probly just cast a spell, or had a special lantern or something. He weren't really an angel. Was he?" [/ic]

[ic=Kaine]"The Worm Blade it is then." Kaine starts walking away, towards the direction of the Worm Blade.[/ic]

[ic=@Gugaba] "Oh yeahm well if it weren't a spell, then what was it? And don't say an angel, cause they ain't real. I say i coulda taken him and if anyone says different, then i bust their faces in." He is obviously getting more and more angry and has taken a very agressive posture. His friend through has backed up and seems to be trying to avoid showng any connection to the big man.[/ic]

[ic=@Kaine and Isu] After taking you leave of the guards, and making the short walk down the market road, you come upon The Worn Blade. A large building of stone and wood, it doesn't seem to have been built so much as grew. The original building is still visible, but other floors and add-ons have caused it to grow onto the other nearby buildings and overhang the lane in front of it. The building looks in good repair though and has a brightly painted sign out front that shows a pitted sword hanging above a fireplace. the door is wide open and you can hear the noise of many discussions coming from inside, including a few raised voices.[/ic]

[ic=Gugaba]Stepping back a few feet, Gugaba tries to seem smaller, a trick he's good at. "I's jus say'n what people say'n. Lotsa people says angels real, they gonna keep thinkin' dat wit Shiny wakin 'round. You beats him, you be showin' us yous right. Udurwize people think wat people think, ya?"[/ic]

[ic=@gugaba] Seeming to calm down a bit and getting a mischevous gleam in his eye, he walks towards you.
"You know, you're making a lot of sense. So now what i want you to do, is find that damn glowbug for me, so's i can show people what's what. How about that?" he says with a grin spreading across his face. "You're a clever lil' guy. What about you come stick with us. We'll help you out and you work for us. What d'ya say?" [/ic]

[ic=Gugaba]Standing back up to his full height, Gugaba smiles. "I'll see what I can do."[/ic]

[ic=Kaine] Kaine trys to cover his wings with his cloak again the best he can. He walks in to the building and up to the front desk. "I would like a room for the night"[/ic]
