Yes, they go wonderful between two slices of wheat bread with some provolone and a bit of mayo and mustard (you'll have to ask vreeg though if you want to know what to drink with that).

What is the most awesome thing you have ever done as a PC

Seraph

Ooh ooh!  Once when I was playing the Invid Invasion campaign from Robotech I had just gotten this mecha that I'd had a hard on for, and while on lookout in it, I test drove it by knocking out the Anti-gravity boosters on the Invid Carrier Ship sending the entire thing crashing to the ground.  ^_^

What was the most comicly embarrassing failure you've had as a PC?

Nomadic

7 straight successes on rolls for climbing up a steep embankment followed by a single failed roll. Here, let me put it into story form for extra enjoyment.

Gustav had trudged up the nearly 70 degree slope, desperately trying to reach the top. It was a move of desperation and yet there was a glimmer of hope. His feet were stable beneath him and the enemies darts failed to drop him where he stood. The hero made one final step, a feeling of success in his chest as he crested the summit, preparing to charge down his now very worried foes.

Alas, what treachery, a vile pebble is to be his undoing. Gustav's foot is wrenched from beneath him by a ferrous fiend and with that slip he begins his tumble down the rocky embankment. Thuds echo through the canyon as he bounces down the hill he just attempted to surmount. Each crunch is a testament to the painful decent he is going through. After what seems forever the agony subsides and our hero comes to rest at the bottom.

Off in the distance one can almost hear the cosmic dice rolling, they will not be favorable to our hero tonight. He has come to rest on the edge of a sheer drop, and the cliff ledge is oh so unstable. A sharp crack sounds the death knell for our one time hero.

What is the most hilarious thing you have ever done (either as a PC, a DM, or an observer).

Ninja D!

While running SWRPG, there was a running joke / recurring character.  Whenever the character was around other people in a certain city on a certain world he always saw others that were very intimidating.  Wookies, bounty hunters, whatever.  There was also always a young human girl with a stun baton who seemed to make everyone uncomfortable.  One time, when the solo PC got himself in over his head with some guards, the young girl with the stun baton showed up and took half of them out on her own.  It seemed funny at the time.

Do you prefer the fantasy genre, focus on fantasy because most of the community does, or not even post fantasy stuff here?

Elemental_Elf

I like both Fantasy and Future/Sci-Fi. I think there's a place for both. I would say, however, that this community does possess a certain bias for the fantasy genre. This is, in all likelihood, due to the fact that this board advertised in the WotC Fantasy section, as opposed to the Modern/Future section... And the general Fantasy bias of RPG's in general. So yes, I post fantasy here because the community likes it, though I am working on a Sci-Fi setting which I will probably post as soon as I think its beyond the Early Alpha stage :)

Who would win in an all out war - the Norse Pantheon or the Greek Pantheon?

Nomadic

Wherever I feel like being employed. ;P

Who is your favorite mythological character?

Seraph

I have a soft spot for the namesake of Limetom's current handle.  Cuchulainn is quite the badass.  "I'm going to defend Ulster singlehandedly against all the armies of Ireland!"

That the same rules designed to reduce the role of the GM and to empower the player also destroyed the autonomy to create a consistent setting. That'd have to be a toss up between my Senior Year of High School and my Freshman year of college.
Senior Year.  There were many great quotable moments, and I got to star in both of the theater productions at my high school, work backstage at the community theater for one show, have a part in a play at the same theater later, and also be a part of bringing a new play into being. (And also pulling a Clint Eastwood by writing, directing, and acting in my own one act play.)  It also signified the glorious end of my time in the desert.
Freshman year.  I arrive at Vassar college, which is an amazingly beautiful campus, and find that I fit in in a way that I never had in high school.  I become a part of the group of general nerdiness, had much girl drama, and had good roles in the musical theater group's productions.

(also I agree, the Norse Pantheon--in a fight anyway--would totally kick the asses of the Greek gods.  Not that the Greek patheon isn't wonderful in its own way, but for sheer badassery, I don't know of a pantheon that measures up to the Norse.)

Acrimone

At one point in Junior High I proclaimed that I would go to Harvard Law School and be rich.  But that only lasted a short while, and I soon decided that I wanted to be a general.

So that (meaning Harvard) didn't happen, not exactly.  But I did go to a different elite law school, and then I truly had the opportunity to become rich.  But instead, after a little more than half a decade of rolling in money and practicing law, I tossed it all away and went back to get my PhD in philosophy.

Now I'm broke again.

What was your finest moment?  This is no time for false humility.

Don't know, I'm still waiting for one of those to roll around.

What do you aspire to do most with your life?

SDragon

Comics, definitely. I have some minor experience writing and inking, but my ultimate goal is penciling. See my latest thread for my latest stuff.

Music-- Mainstream, or underground? (Note: this can also go for movies, comics, or just about anything. Don't feel limited to just answering about music, but please specify if you're refering to something else.)

If you mean professional vs amateur I go for the amateur. There has been some amazing stuff recently (even better than the "professionals").

What's your favorite chip (crisp if you're British :P )

Steerpike

Miss Vickie's Rosemary & Basil chips, because they're an awesome combination of overblown highbrow pretension (the herbs) and lowbrow tastiness.  But Miss Vickie's in general are my favorite brand of chips, except when I'm craving ketchup chips (which I think are mostly only a Canadian thing??), in which case Old Dutch are the best.

Who's your favorite fantasy/sci-fi/comic book hero?
