For finite types, like human beings, getting the mind around the concept of infinity is tough going.  Apparently, the same is true for cows.

I think I would be down for this sometime, but I don't want to be next.

Llum

I think we are left between LC and Nomadic, those were the two choices left after we randomed Biohazard.

The first post in the thread has been updated, including new options. (Steerpike, I assumed you want to talk about Cadaverous Earth rather than Tempter; please do not hesitate to correct me if this is not so.)

[note=Hey Llum and Ishy]If I'm misinterpreting your comments or if you've changed your minds about needing time, please speak up. I would hate to wrongly exclude either of you from consideration for the next round of picks based on a miscommunication, and you should feel free to jump in whenever you like.[/note] Both Llum and Ishmayl have requested extra time to prepare before being marched off to the gallows, so that leaves the current choice as between Nomadic, Steerpike, and myself.

Steerpike wants to wait until after the 27th (which is one week for today, which is about as much time as Ishmayl would probably want to promote the event via a news post, anyway.) If Nomadic has any similar preferences or caveats, I am not aware of them.

As for myself, my main concern is facilitating this event series, as opposed to maneouvering myself forward or backward "in line." In order to keep up the momentum, I'll step forward and field questions about my setting whenever there seems to be a gap in the schedule.

I think it'd be excellent if we could finalize the next selection today, between Steerpike, Nomadic, and myself. I also think it's important to schedule in a little more lead time than last time, so we can raise awareness in advance of the event.

You got it right, LC.  I just need to clean up a few things and add some things I've been working on lately.  I think I'll be ready for grilling by the end of March (wow, a month?  Yes, a month).

Once you have a definite person, date, and time for the next one, make sure someone (Mr. Facilitator) PM me with the specifics!

Yeah, I dropped the ball seriously on that last one. Won't happen again, though! :yumm:

Looking forward to both of you having your moment in the spotlight.

Nomadic

I can be next if there's no choice. Warning though that I have come down with the flu though (that's why I haven't been super active on here) so if it happens anytime soon I may pass out in the middle of the session.

Lmns Crn

There is plenty of choice, so there's no reason for you to have to field questions while suffering the flu (unless, for whatever reason, you really want to.)

I figure we will just put Steerpike next. We can honor his request to have the date after the 27th, and use that time to give Ishy some advanced notice this time. :yumm:

Lazy bitch that I am, I have not kept up on this thread.

A) I have no problem volunteering, as longas Nomadic is around to translate my typing and Limetom is there to trasnlate my drunk-ese.  I have never had a problem with fielding questions (Morrisey had it right, Big Mouth Strikes Again).

b) a non-Igbar Sunday is best.  I am running that game on 2/22 and 3/15 ( i think) next.  I'd rather do a Sunday when I get home a little early and rthe rest of the CBG can avoid work.  (Vreeg only takes Fridays off of work, and most of them, like today I still went out to do a consult).
c) Please use this as you see fit; as long as I have ample warning, I can make this happen.  I just finally had a few minutes to catch up on some threads, and this one was one.  I apologize.
4) Much love to all the CBG.  Best place for gaming brains to hang.
