Or Mork

Or Mork, commonly known as Or, is the largest archeological site of Gog and Magog civilization ever found. The city was found in a large peat bog with a curious hill in the center. It was revealed that the hill was a massive stone complex that rose some two hundred feet above the sorrounding city, buried under the peat.

The stone complex has only been lightly explored, more time has been spent draining the peat bog and uncovering the city buried underneath.

Bitfjord

Bitfjord is a small settlement some twelve miles to the east of Or Mork, it houses roughly a thousand people. A common stopping point for scholars and those others who visit the archeological site. The town is overseen by an older Knight of the Broken Tower, one Ararad Fjordlord. Practically however the town is administered by Seamus O'Rayd, a texture-wizard from New Lombard.

Due to the frequency of travellers, often times wealthy travellers, that pass though Bitfjord the town has three inns. The Gogs Tooth is the most inexpensive of these, but still reputable. Run by the Adelbrach family for the last sixty years it has prospered. Gammon's Eyrie is an upperclass inn, a massive tower with six floors it has a large ground floor decorated with various God and Magog artifacts, a favored place for passing scholars to stay die to its extensive smokeleaf and brandy selection.

The Magus' Monacle is the most expensive inn, it caters to wealthy magicians passing through. A massive three tiered crystal pyramid the Monacle sticks out from its sorroundings.

Order of the Blasted Tower

Formed by survivors of the destruction of the original Tower of Flame the Order was originally a subsect of the second Tower of Flame. In the following centuries the Blasted Tower has gained more and more autonomy, and has for the last few centuries been considered its own independent entity.

The structure of the Order is seemingly complex to the uninitiated.

There are thirty three ranks, with the lowest being youngsters raised by the Order and as is common by most magic schools these children are known as Towerlings. The first official rank with duties in the field is the third rank, that of Rook.

The highest rank in the Blasted Tower, and there is only ever one, is that of Unchained Archmagus. There are several ranks that actually control the guild in day to day activities.

The power structure of the Guild is also quite convoluted, it isn't a simple pyramidal authority scheme like most organizations.
