A potential new hire is giving a talk, and since our big academic conference is next week, we've also got some planning meetings for the volunteers (myself being one).

Moss still, I believe, had a little bit of a private session left to play. Do we want to finish that or just gloss it over? If it saves you some work, I'd be fine with glossing it over. I'll be free this weekend, but not next. If we do want to play it out, during the day on Saturday or Sunday would work best for me.

So next week is the International Conference on Language Documentation and Conservation, the world's premiere conference on endangered languages and what to do about them. Obviously, I won't be able to make the game, because I'll be off linguisticing.

SH and I Have continued working on his concept.  Getting together an interesting character.

We are most certainly on for this Thursday.

We will be doing the time skip.
The downside is that we are missing the area where the cultists and Trine Vexchian are battling, where the cultists are growing, skipping the gear chamber and the railcar, and the ruins of Vericulum and the Trine Guldana area.  Not to mention the bridge of many corpses.

We will jump right to the Southern Fields area, and I will provide some of what was seen and done.  The advantage is that we can work back to town within a session that way.

Now, SH is busy making a character.  So I was working on a few ideas, based on some reading lately.  Since we have 3 main PCs, I want all the the spotlight time on the PCs, so this means removing the minions.  Having them was very OSR, but especially with inconsistent players, hard when they need to do things and slows everything down.

So this is also the time to get new blood in, since we are back in town.

I may be a little late getting to the game. The other department I'm sort of a part of is having a hiring talk, and they asked for my opinion on the prospective hires. It gets out more or less exactly when the game should start.

We have a family member coming down with a bad case of 'Death'.

It is the Wife's Auntie, who helped raise her.
