Not the fastest deck, but once you get Nantuko Husk+Grave Pact in play it takes off. Use dark banishing to keep attackers off you and exhume/stitch together to put your symbiotes back in play before Mortuary shows up.

I haven't played since Kamigawa so there's sadly no way I could give you my deck list. :/

Awww shit, I need to find my goblin deck and post it. It doesn't look impressive but think : The only creature that costs more than 1 is the Goblin King. With good draws (and I've done it many times) I can be attacking for 3 on the second turn.

Mason

I love goblin decks Ninja D!
A few goblin shrines , goblin recruiter , your golden.

Ninja D!

I think the Goblin Shrine is waaaay too risky. If someone uses disenchant, all the goblins are dead.

As far as the recruiter goes, that ruins the set up with everything but the King costing only 1.

Most people prefer other stuff in there, I just go for the speed.

Ahh, this brings back memories. I'm starting back up once Scars of Mirrodin comes out... I was that lame kid who made some imbalanced artifact affinity deck way back when Mirrodin first hit the scene. It was way too much fun, especially since I was at a 40-60 percent win ratio with my friend (a Magic veteran), so I finally felt like I could contribute in the battle against his blue control decks.

Sadly, I would have to dig to find the deck, but it wasn't all that special.

Steerpike

I don't have a deck of my own to contribute but this thread made me think of a friend's deck... it was a blue control deck that functioned almost entirely on counterspells and drawing cards.  I remember that there was precisely one creature, a Teferi's Drake (I think - it was definitely some kind of flying, phasing creature).  It was a slow deck, but really, really frustrating to play against.

Weave

Dropping my entire hand on turn 1 for free is always fun :]. Affinity was awesome like that.

What's your guy's favorite color and your favorite color combination?

My favorite color is Green. I like speed and nothing is faster than Green. As for color combination... Well I like G/B because Black tends to have a lot of techy abilities that green simply doesn't have (especially removal cards). G/R is also fun because Red adds burn and I love using Goblins. G/W is also fun, especially for speed weenie spam. G/U is ok... I'm not a huge fan of control with Green but a lot of people enjoy it. Out of them all, I think Green/Black is my favorite. The flavor of evil nature is just... Appealing :)

Elemental_Elf

Unfortunately, WotC ruined their forums, so I can't access my favorite deck list but here are a few of the key cards. It was an Elvish themed G/B list that abused the living heck out of killing my opponent's creatures, having a ton of mana and being able to dredge (i.e. get cards back from my graveyard by sacrificing x number of cards off the top of my deck). It was a ton of fun and I did quite well with it (including getting SECOND place at the first tournament I ever went to)!

Steerpike

I'm a big fan of Black (big surprise eh), mostly for the flavor but also for creatures like shades (yay for pumping) and horrors, fear-causing creatures, and instant kills.  My favorite colour combinations are Black/Blue, because you can totally dominate and control a game, and Red/Black, for the sheer destructive power.  I also once experimented with Black/White, the White's healing enchantments helping to fuel Black's "self-harm" style spells.

Nomadic

Black/Blue decks are some of the most evil things you can ever play. I worked one up with a friend who liked playing black (while I favored blue). The resulting deck was so nasty that after a couple days the other players there demanded that I switch back to mono-blue (these being the people that ground their teeth at my control deck beforehand).

Ninja D!

Red is much faster than green. burn.burn!Burn!BURN!BURN!!BURN!!!

Errr...sorry.

For color combos, I have a sweet black / white deck and I think that is the best combo.
