Anyone up for a lvl8 fight against PWNT?

No level 8. Working on a L4, and (slowly) on a level 16. And speaking of my L4, I need to roll some hit dice:
Belarin's hit dice: [dice]6+3d4[/dice]
(edit: wow, that's horrible. Someone...may want to have a Bear's Endurance scroll in his standard kit.)

One thing that just occured to me is that invisibility is ridiculous from an entertainment standpoint and would probably be banned in any sanctioned fights. This is a gladiatorial arena after all. They want to show combat, not let people hear the sounds of what could be a good fight...

Once your mage is done, Mneme, Vorgresh the Moping is looking for a new opponent. Anyone up for some level 16 action? or any level but 20th?

@ beejazz: lvl 8 is fine.

@ helix: just pick any level really. I have characters or partial characters for all of them.

Most of my characters need a bit of work, so just name a level and i'll get to work on that character first.

Team Discovery Chanell will take on all comers.

Endless: maybe, maybe the officials have True Seeing up for the stands.

Also, it occurs to me that just as some competitions are utterly lopsided if they don't have a roof (a Str based fighter against a flying mage), some are far less interesting if they -don't- have a flying area -- in fact, there should really, really be some aerial arenas for fights like "raptorian fighter vs wizard" and the like, where the three-dimensionality of the fight is part of the point.

The only problem with flying fights is the thing that makes it cool, the three dimensionality of it. It becomes difficult to figure out precisely where each char is. After all, two characters could be in the same square, but at different heights.

And yes. I'm a pessimist, but if you can find any way to make a successful (and simple, hopefully) way to make it work. My wizard and my Bloodstorm Blade would be immensely interested.

@ all: I'm looking into 16th level and 12th level matches primarily, I've a couple characters I want to try out, but if there's an any level except 20 is fine.

Endless_Helix: Easy. Just use a double-map. One map gives the overhead view, one gives the southern one. Ambiguity on one map is resolved on the other -- with collisions (two things in the "same" square) given a unique symbol that's keyed below.

So, normal arena, unless you want something different.
