[ic=Rashine] I feel that Behrem's earlier suggestion is most sound. We'll waste more time looking if we rush headlong in, and may make ourselves vulnerable to attack. Alternately, might we find a tower or minaret within the complex? Such would be an ideal place to spend the night, such that we may watch in shifts for smoke and torchlight.[/ic]

What?
England.
Just a conspiracy of cartographers, then?

[ooc]There is no tower until some way into the complex, you're going to have a little walking to do to get to it, but you should make it there before nightfall.[/ooc]

Raelifin

[ic=Faridoon]While continuing down the path, Faridoon calls out "You suggest that we sit for days on end for the rats to leave their nest? On open ground we will be outnumbered. Better to find them in the dark and kill the vermin in their sleep. They deserve nothing less."[/ic]

[ic=Behrem]
With a shrug, Behrem strings his bow, takes a leaf of qat from his pouch, and turns to follow the headstrong one.
[/ic]

[ooc]I'm not going to be moving quickly, taking advantage of the opportunity to study the terrain, watching for any spots that could be advantageous or dangerous if we are attacked.[/ooc]

[ic=Hyaled]Hyaled nods.

"As long as there are plenty of heads to crack, I'm happy."

He swings his quarterstaff over his shoulder and follows the others.[/ic]

[ooc]Don't ask me... it's your decision, though it does seem a realistic length of time for walking down a 60 m pathway.[/ooc]

[ooc]You could say something like, oh, I don't know... "We walk in the entrance"?  :)

Everyone make a Spot check.  This will go for all rolls from now on, but if someone hasn't rolled within 24 hours of me announcing it, I'll roll for them.[/ooc]

snakefing

[ic=Behrem]Warily, Behrem scans the vicinity to left and right of the path as they approach the entrance.[/ic]

[ooc]Spot check: [dice]d20+6[/dice][/ooc]

[ooc]Not sure, probably that should have been:

Spot check: [dice]1d20+6[/dice]

I think if you just type d20 it may not roll?[/ooc]
