which show uses more techno-bable star trek (any) or Doctor Who?

Doctor Who! At least Star Trek keeps it all in the same era. The Doctor just runs around in vastly different eras with technology far surpassing Treks... Does any one really understand the babel that comes out of the Doctors Brain Blast rambles?

Game preference. Simplicity or customization?

Can I choose simplistic customization? In 3.5 I like classes that let me choose things, like a Sorcerer and a Fighter. I also enjoy 4e's method of simplistic customization. If a system is too complex, I get tired, if a system is too simplistic I grow bored.

2E, 3E or 4E?

2e (it's what I cut my teeth on, and there things about it that stand up well)
Customization, although if one is talking pencil and paper RPGs it can be an and/both not an either/or.

Is there a better soundtrack album than Queen's A Kind of Magic (the soundtrack to Highlander)?

The soundtrack to David Lynch's "Lost Highway," produced by Trent Reznor. (Angelo Badalamenti's instrumental work is great, esp. "Red Bats With Teeth," and Lou Reed's cover of the 60s pop-standard "This Magic Moment" is sheer genius.)

I like Blake, and Hamilton's Faerie Pr0n series too, though I've fallen behind on both. . .

The Vines or The Hives (refferring to the bands by those names, not something else)?

Never heard of either of them before today, and don't particularly like that style of rock.  However, doing a quick check on myspace for the Hives, and the Vines' official web site, I would say the Hives had catchier tunes.

Ocean's Eleven (Sinatra) or Ocean's Eleven (Clooney)?

Sinatra.  That one wasn't totally lame (having only seen maybe half of each version, there was still no comparison).
