So does that mean that if we throw gnomes into the mix their answer will involve some form of prank against the other two races.

a gnome seems more like when a midget Dwarf and a very midget Elf breed.

The 3.5 version of Gnomes does not work well in a camapaign with Halflings or inventive dwarves, but alone they are very cool.

Dwarves are better then Elves because Dwarves drink Beer and Whiskey, elves drink wine. Weak!
