A little something i whipped up while watching the hockey game tonight... i hope i didn't do a hack-job... Does anybody recognize it?

That's a well made map. I like the way you did the mountains.

Not quite my style but, as others have said, that is a nicely made map. I'm sure Vreeg will be honored that someone did something like this.

Wow i am glad you like it, i didnt know if you would want it or not, or if you had a more updated map offline somewhere. If you want i can post the unlabeled version, so you can label as you wish.

Seriously, I have gotten about 11 emails since I posted it there from 11 different PLayers, everyone raving.  The effect of color, who knew?

(I have much more exact small scale maps all over the place, especially near Miston, Igbar, Igtiche, and Ocodig, since those are the main playing areas.  But I would love the base map you did to do a settlement-only map.)

I want to finish the map (some how the gravel layer around the rivers got turned off) and the river blue finished either. Like i said i rushed it, but if you like it i will enjoy putting some more time into it and fix the irregularities (like the white line near Shrum) I think i will do some reading on Celtricia so i can get an idea of the local weather and geography, i made it rather generic and random. The coastline isnt right either... hmmm i think i know what i am doing today.... :)

PS - Anyone know a simple place i can get large pictures posted up on the net? My map for my setting world is all in one piece and is a 3.5 Mb file in JPG. I know there is free hosting, i just want something simple and quick to join/use.

photobucket.com and imageshack.us are both image hosting sites. You could also just host it on a random forum, or on this site :p

too big to attach to a post on this site, i need to host it else where and link to it i think. Those are the two sites i have heard the most of, so i guess i will pick one and go.

Flickr is another hosting site.  It's let me put up some fairly large pictures.

You should probably add a legend as well at some point. Of course, that's last-minute details.
