I think I am going to leave this map unlabeled, and leave the labeling up to Vreeg, after reading his last post on all the river names (although by description the rivers in the map seem to follow the same sequence so yay!) I could very easily under-label or over-label the map, and Celtricia is constantly evolving and Vreeg is adding places. Also i hope the map has enough "new detail" that it keeps Vreegs imagination going for a while "there's a nice valley here, maybe there is a village of _____ there...." or whatever. Labeling is easy I usually just use Wingding Symbols and download a couple nice fonts. Is there any other changes you would like to the map as far as mountains, rivers, tree-lines, or any unique details needed?

It's a nice map. If a couple of rivers are impossible, so what?

People can stomach magic, flying dragons, and whatever else-- they can take a couple of funny-looking rivers. :P

So are we done with this project Vreeg? Are you happy with the map as is or do you want me to revise it some more to get it right. Just curious before i get too deep in my new mapping project.

You're talking about the person who came up with a scientific design to magic :P

on a more serious note, it has nothing to do with being able to stomach magic... it has to do with the common courtesy of pointing out potential errors in someone's work so that they can improve. That is what we're all here for right?

LordVreeg

Lath, you have doen for me a great service.  You were done whenever you want to be.

Nomadic, always love your comments, every one!

Its been My pleasure Lord Vreeg. I just want to make sure that I have created a map that you can honestly use without having any part of it you feel doesn't depict an area accurately. If you feel its good enough for you to present to your players as part of Celtricia then the map is done. Here are the unlabeled versions of the last 3 versions. I was going to post the Gimp File but its too big :(

Quote from: Lord VreegAllright, Nomadic, you obviously want to describe why these are impossible, I'll bite.  There's enough in Celtricia that might not match well with physics. :-/
You have been challenged Nomadic, and I want to hear it. I can imagine why the northern one is unlikely, but my I'm curious about the explanation for the southern one.

Well, not to make anything easier or harder...but the body of water to the south in Argus is Lake Zmummi (Lake of the Anvil, Klaxik).  It is NOT an openning to any sea or ocean.

Aye, a small part of it. I was wondering if i went a little far with the rivers especially for the scale. But it is the most "northerly" land mass, the lower left being Scandinavian in climate, with the upper right more like the British isles surrounded by oceans it gets alot of rain fall, with a lot of stored water on the land as well. This is the one area of my setting that i have ran campaigns in (two). Its mostly Norce/Celtic/Scottish, i think i posted a PDF on the region but that was before i decided to remap the entire world.
