Oh, Limetom?

You can do that dice roll as follows:

/roll ( ( d12+18 ) / d5 ) + 2

You just have to be sure to put in the spaces between the parentheses and the dice rolls.

More good news.  One of the founders already got back on how to do our dividing dice

So, a few things.

1) session 141 will be on roll20.net on Tuesday.  We might switch into voice mode at some point, but not yet.  If you need an invite from me, let me know.

2) It looks like we will be moving to Thursday nights, at least for the semester, due to Limetom's schedule.  Anyone have an issue?  This will happen AFTER session 141.

3) The explortation has been downright spooky, in an OS type of ways. here is where the game page is.

Is roll20.net another IRC based chat, or a different kind of chat program?   Voice sounds like it would use up more data than I am comfortable with at home, and doing it while out at the coffee-shop would be weird.

What time Thursday nights?  This may or may not conflict with my Cad Goleor game, which runs at 3pm Pacific/6pm Eastern.

A)  thanks for the response, I love having you in the game.  Really.

B) Roll20.net is chat and/or voice.  Does both.  I will probably stick with chat on this one for now.  but there are a ton of shared-view tools.

C) SIG would probably remain at 8:45PM Eastern.

We are on tonight, on roll20.net.
8:45 eastern.  This is about the only break I am going to get before the dreaded Midnight Madness sale, next Friday.
The exploration of the multilayered area has been confusing, but has gone well...the group has som loot, and is moving areound areas where the Trine Vexchian seems to be unaware of.

Don't think I can make it, Capstone and Engineering events are 99% likely to prevent me being there!

Awesome game last night, session 143.

1) we are still getting used to roll20.net, but the platform seems to be a lot of fun and easy to use, and full of macros and other good features.

2) as with many OSR games, the group swelled pretty large.  I remember playing in groups that wer as much expeditioning as adventuring, with as many as 2 dozen hirelings and men-at-arms.  This group has definitely gotten larger, and we generally have 2 PCs at a time (and we need more, BTW).  So Moss and SH asked if we could start using, ewspecially in combat, a mixture of mass combat rules with the PCs init, so that in combat, the PCs would not need to wait around so much.
We came to a good conclusion, that we will do this, but the PCs have the ability to decide if they want a key contributor to start working in regular initiative.

3) SH has become enough a regular to warrant his own character.  He's been using the redoubtable Jon Galica, bard and warrior, fort a while.  But Once we have the opportunity, Jon will move back into the pregens pile (and be able to be played by other new PCS, like Billo White, Burnous and Yeomic), and SH will be allowed to make a character starting with 10% less exp as the lowest PC in the group.

4) The session itself was a pure combat (LLum got them into it, then bailed this session  :) ).  But The group prevailed against the ravening, starving  wights (and their void sourced damage reduction) and their the mindless skeletons.
Now, standing amidst the bones, ancient weapons, husks of flesh, ripped and chipped plaster and the broken door, there is a small chamber in front of the explorers, shadowed and hidden for centuries or longer.

Gaa......

Glad that my busiest sale period is finally over.  Records were broken and History was made.  But now I can get back to more important things, like gaming, design and campaign building.

SIG games will be on Thursday this semester.  I look forward to getting back full steam.

I need to get S-H his own character.  JoMalley and I were talking about the normal phenomenons of chargen in GS.  One natural one is that once a newer player starts understanding the game and the way the skills work, their inevitable response is to want to build one themselves.

More later.
