Afraid I can't.  I have rehearsal tonight, and need to be arriving there about when the game starts.  October 16th would be the next time I might be available, and that is assuming they don't want me to do another show (they tend to have them right on top of each other, but I think I'd know by now if they wanted me for the next one.)

Old, evil, twisted, damaged, and afflicted.  Orbis non sufficit.Thread Murderer Extraordinaire, and supposedly pragmatic...\"That is my interpretation. That the same rules designed to reduce the role of the GM and to empower the player also destroyed the autonomy to create a consistent setting. And more importantly, these rules reduce the Roleplaying component of what is supposed to be a \'Fantasy Roleplaying game\' to something else\"-Vreeg

session 132 was an explorational one, with the group working their way around the sub-basements of the second level.  eventually, they came throug the obvious side of a few secret doors, and in a large, statue ridden hall....jackpot?

well, this particular sub basement has obvioulsy remained undisturbed, despite all the action from the Trine Vexchian above.  The dust, the locks, etc, make that very clear.

I think we've really lucked out. The gnolls--or anyone, for that matter--don't seem to know about the section we're exploring. Moss' suggestion for next time is to continue with the exploration. We can always just pick up the statues on our way out.

But this leads to a dilemma: we don't know where the underground river comes out, if anywhere. It should be explored too, but without a boat, we can't just take the statue(s) that way. It's looking more and more like we'll have to get the one statue we'll be able to carry out the hard way: back up through the main ruins and through a horde of angry gnolls.

Well, it is an interesting, layered area.  You can even see the levels of different Venolvian eras as yo see secret areas or different artistic styles.

And who knows what else can be found in the secret areas

More giant, floating skulls babbling nonsense, probably.

LordVreeg

Depends what areas you end up in.  Historically, the Thanatosian DeathCult and the side-cults (like the cult of St. Arbor) were hidden and only popular in the end of the cycle of the Venovians.  Many of the older area that bear evince use from the Thanatosians actually can be seen to be repurposed.  However, many of the more hidden areas also were used by specific clans and cults, and many are from Entropic faiths.

•Tanos 53, about 10:25 pm,  session 133 involved the searching and exploring of the hidden areas under the second level...
•This included the going to a heretoforth ignored staircase up, hearing loud bellowing and gnollis voices from above, Plaes and Burnous finding hinges in a staircase, then discover, the hard way, a trap below it and a corridor, under the other secret stairway (secrets within secrets).  The group followed it, and after hearing water and finding wet areas, opened an old, shuttered door to find themselves in a carved out, stone-paneled dry edge next to a black as ink, loud running underground river.
