Hey, folks. I'm making a CBG-related chatterbot which can be found here. I could use some help beta-testing for more questions it should know the answers to--specifically anything you want to see included about yourself or your settings.

The CBotG could be a useful tool if you guys want to pitch in! Post any questions and answers you want to see here, or just PM me or contact me through AIM!

Q:Who founded the CBG?
A: Xeviat DM

Q:Who is Ishmayl?
A:The Admin of the CBG forums

Q:What is the triumvirate?
A: The nickname for a group of 3 users at the old shadowfell forums, CYMRO, ElDo, and Kalos Mer

More if I think of them, cool idea ElDo.
Previously: Natural 20, Critical Threat, Rose of Montague

Elven Doritos

Updated and republished. Thanks for the compliment and the thoughts. ;)

Also, I'll put a "Who is..." for everyone who gives me a short blurb about themselves, too. Also, a "What is..." for campaign settings!

EDIT: Just keep the answers relatively short. The bot can only have so much text per line, so break up things in multiple questions.

"What is the magic level of X?"
"Who made X?"
"Does X use core?"

How many questions can the bot hold?  i'd hate to fill it up with silly questions...

Heh. It's a free service and I see no limits, so I think we'll be safe with just about anything.

Heh:

Me: "What is the CBG?"
Bot: "The Campaign Builder's Guild. It's an interactive web community that focuses on the creation of fictional worlds."

Me: "What kinds of fictional worlds?"
Bot: "The best kinds."

I like this bot's style!
I move quick: I'm gonna try my trick one last time--
you know it's possible to vaguely define my outline
when dust move in the sunshine

Xathan

Yes...this Bot does have some style...

Human: What is your favorite campaign setting?
CBotG: The Red Valor Campaign Setting, but I might be biased. I also like the Jade Stage, and really anything at the CBG.

Human: What do you think of ElDo?
CBotG: I think he's a great guy.

We have our first setting script. Ask CBotG about Xathan and his settings!

I like this bot

Human: What is the best way to start a campaign setting?
CBotG: I don't have a favorite way to start a campaign setting. But my favorite movie is Dungeons & Dragons: The Movie.

Human: What does purple taste like?
CBotG: Like chicken.

Human: Why am I talking to you?
CBotG: The reason is due to my mental model of you as a client

Human: Which came first the chicken or the egg?
CBotG: The rooster did.

How can it like Red Valor if it doesn't know what it is?

Human: What is the Red Valor Campaign setting
CBotG: That's an interesting question. I'll come back to that in a minute.

Human: What is Red Valor?
CBotG: You tell me.

Human: Grammar isn't your strong point, is it?
CBotG: Are you my strong point is it?

Elven Doritos

Hee. ;)

EDIT: CBot now knows what Red Valor is.

He doesn't think much of us. :(

Human: Is the Red Valor Campaign Setting any good?
CBotG: If it is, then I'll be very surprised.

Human: Are there any good campaign settings at the CBG?
CBotG: No I don't think there are any.
